Samaritans Purse

It is an interfaith - inter denominational service that really makes a difference in an impoverished and war-torn world.
Having spent 9 years as a missionary myself, I can say that there are often big ministries that take huge cuts for themselves-administratively speaking - and Samaritans Purse is NOT one of those. (Neither is Africa Renewal Ministries. Arm.com)
Anyway, the holidays are upon us.
Yes there are MANY impoverished families here, within our own borders.
You can support or send a one time gift to them by seekin gout your local food banks/Kiwanis club services orlocal churches - who usually have a set-up to feed and clothe the less fortunate.
in the event that you are unable to locate one of these admirable entities within your own city limits, i would encourage you to seek out "Samaritans Purse" or Africa REnewal Ministries." These are agencies that send the bulk of the support to the actual family/child you "adopt."
